Personalized Assessment for Medical Cannabis Treatment in Thailand
Medical cannabis treatment starts with an individual assessment by an appropriately licensed healthcare practitioner. A PT.33 prescription may be issued when treatment is clinically appropriate.
Your practitioner determines the prescribed quantity, dosage, and treatment duration according to your medical needs and applicable Thai requirements. Prescriptions cover medically necessary use for no more than 30 days; they do not automatically entitle every patient to a fixed quantity.
For Patients
Paying for a consultation does not guarantee a prescription. Please follow your prescribed treatment instructions and retain your medical documentation.
For Licensed Providers
Dispensing must follow the patient’s valid prescription and applicable licensing, recordkeeping, and regulatory requirements.
